The Safari Experience
The game drive is the cornerstone of any Tanzania safari — a 4–8 hour journey through the bush in a specially modified Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-top roof, seated alongside expert naturalist guides who know these parks intimately.
We offer morning drives departing at sunrise (the best time for predator activity), full-day drives with a bush picnic, and afternoon/evening drives timed to catch the golden light. In select parks such as Ruaha and Mikumi, night drives reveal a completely different cast of nocturnal characters — genets, civets, aardvarks, and hunting lions.
Every game drive is private — just your group, your guide, and the bush. We never share vehicles between families or groups.
Best Time
6–10am and 3–6:30pm when animals are most active and light is golden.
What to Wear
Neutral khaki and olive tones. Avoid bright colours. Warm layers for early drives.
Photography
Pop-top roofs give unobstructed 360° views for photographers. Beanbag rests provided.
Group Size
Maximum 6 per vehicle ensures comfort, visibility, and intimate wildlife sightings.
