Welcome to Tanzania! Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your guide will be waiting to greet you and transfer you to the Arusha Planet. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and soak up the vibrant African atmosphere. Your safari adventure begins first thing tomorrow morning!

Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, often called the "home of elephants." This park offers fantastic opportunities to see elephants in large groups, particularly around the Tarangire River. Along with elephants, you may spot leopards, lions, giraffes, and even the rare tree-climbing pythons! Enjoy a thrilling game drive throughout the day, before heading to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Prepare for a truly spectacular day as you descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. This 'Garden of Eden' is a self-contained ecosystem teeming with wildlife. You'll spend the entire day on a game drive, searching for the 'Big 5'—lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and the elusive leopard. Lunch will be an unforgettable experience at a picnic site on the crater floor. As the day ends, you'll drive to the highlands of Karatu for the night." Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge

Your day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a one-hour transfer to the baobab-studded landscapes of Tarangire National Park. Known as the 'home of giants,' this park is a sanctuary for massive elephant herds. You'll spend the day tracking them as they congregate by the Tarangire River, and you'll also be on the lookout for other incredible wildlife, including stealthy leopards, proud lions, graceful giraffes, and the rare sight of tree-climbing pythons. After a full day of game viewing, you'll drive 1.5 hours back to Arusha.
